What is a Pumpkin Smoothie?
“This is a nutrient-dense drink made with real pumpkin puree. I cook with it because it’s rich in fiber and vitamins. Unlike pumpkin pie filling (which often has hidden additives), I use pure pumpkin. It’s naturally sweet, creamy, and gives me the perfect energy boost whenever I need it.”

- High in Vitamin A
- Rich in Fiber
- Supports Immunity
- Low in Calories
Ingredients (100% Halal)
💡 I always check labels to ensure no alcohol or haram gelatin is present.
| Ingredient | Quantity | My Personal Note |
|---|---|---|
| Pure Pumpkin Puree | 1/2 cup | Rich in fiber; do not use pumpkin pie filling. |
| Frozen Ripe Banana | 1 medium | Provides natural sweetness and thick texture. |
| Vanilla Greek Yogurt | 1/2 cup | Adds protein; ensure it is halal certified. |
| Pumpkin Pie Spice | 1/4 tsp | Warm aroma; mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. |
| Vanilla Extract | 1/2 tsp | I only use alcohol-free vanilla. |
| Chia Seeds | 1 tbsp | Essential for fiber and healthy fats. |
| Almond/Coconut Milk | 1 cup | Unsweetened is best to keep it light. |
How I Make It
The Base
I add my pumpkin puree and frozen banana to the blender.
The Creaminess
I add the Greek yogurt and my choice of milk (Almond or Coconut).
Flavor & Fiber
I put in the vanilla, pumpkin spice, and chia seeds.
Blend
I blend everything on high speed until perfectly smooth.
Perfect Finish
I pour it into a tall glass and enjoy it immediately!
Best Tips: I always use a frozen banana to make my smoothie extra creamy and smooth. If I want it a little sweeter, I add a small amount of honey, making sure it is natural and halal. Before serving, I like to chill my glass in the freezer for about five minutes to keep the smoothie cold and refreshing. If my smoothie turns out too thick, I simply add a splash of milk and blend it again until it reaches the perfect consistency.
Serving Ideas

Serve in a tall clear glass with a sprinkle of spice on top.
Add a few extra chia seeds for a professional look.
Pair it with boiled eggs for a complete healthy breakfast.
Great as a dessert-like snack for kids too!
