Ingredients
  

  • 1 green tea bag or 1 teaspoon loose leaf green tea
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juiced
  • 1- inch piece fresh ginger sliced or grated
  • 2 cups filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ginger: Wash and slice the ginger, or grate for stronger flavor.
  • Boil the water: In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  • Add ginger: Simmer ginger in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • Steep green tea: Remove from heat and steep green tea bag for 3–5 minutes.
  • Add lemon: Remove tea bag and stir in lemon juice.
  • Serve: Strain out ginger (optional), serve warm or chilled over ice.

Notes

  • For best results, drink on an empty stomach in the morning.
  • Use decaf green tea if drinking in the evening.
  • Add 1 tsp apple cider vinegar for extra fat-burning benefits.
