  • 1 10-oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes & green chiles (drained)
  • 1 1-oz packet ranch dressing mix (check halal label)
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning low sodium preferred
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Jack or mild Cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips or potato chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • Drain the diced tomatoes and green chiles very well using a strainer to remove excess liquid and prevent the dip from becoming watery.
  • Add the sour cream to a large mixing bowl and sprinkle in the ranch dressing mix and taco seasoning.
  • Stir until the sour cream and seasonings are fully combined and smooth.
  • Gently fold in the drained tomatoes and green chiles along with the shredded cheese.
