Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, and salt.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves completely.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Let cool, then pour into a clean jar or bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
