Ingredients
  

  • 2 quarts water
  • 8 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • cups sugar adjust to taste
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup orange juice optional for flavor

Instructions
 

  • Rinse cranberries and add them to boiling water.
  • Cook until berries pop (about 10 minutes).
  • Strain the mixture and press to extract juice.
  • Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and optional orange juice.
  • Cool completely, refrigerate for 4 hours, and serve chilled.
