- 2 quarts water
- 8 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1½ cups sugar adjust to taste
- ½ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup orange juice optional for flavor
Rinse cranberries and add them to boiling water.

Strain the mixture and press to extract juice.
