Essential:
- 1 cup butter room temperature
- 1 ¼ cups light brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ cups milk chocolate chips plus more for topping
Optional Add-ins:
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup white chocolate chunks
Cream Butter & Sugars – Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy (3–4 mins).
Add Wet Ingredients – Mix in eggs (one at a time) and vanilla.
Combine Dry Ingredients – In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add to wet mixture.
