Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce regular, light, or gluten-free — halal-certified
  • ½ teaspoon molasses
  • teaspoon sugar
  • Optional 1–2 drops halal caramel coloring for a darker color

Instructions
 

  • Combine soy sauce, molasses, and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • (Optional) Add caramel coloring for a deeper shade.
  • Pour into a clean glass bottle and store in the refrigerator.
  • Shake well before using.

Notes

  • Use halal-certified soy sauce to ensure it’s alcohol-free.
  • A few drops go a long way; add slowly to avoid over-darkening your dish.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3–4 months.
