Ingredients
  

Essential:

  • 1 glass 16 oz filtered water
  • ½ lemon juice, about 1 tbsp
  • 1 small piece fresh turmeric ½ inch grated or ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger ¼ tsp grated
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar raw, unfiltered
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tsp maple syrup to taste

Optional Add-ins

  • Cucumber slices
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp soaked chia seeds
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp fresh aloe vera gel food-grade
  • ½ cup brewed green tea

Instructions
 

  • Fill a glass with filtered water.
  • Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
  • Add grated turmeric and ginger.
  • Stir in apple cider vinegar.
  • Sprinkle a small pinch of cayenne pepper (optional).
  • Add maple syrup and mix well.
  • Let sit for 5–10 minutes, then stir again before drinking.
