Ingredients
  

Essential:

  • 2 cans 14.5 oz each green beans, drained
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter or olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken or vegetable broth optional

Optional Toppings:

  • Crispy fried onions
  • Halal parmesan cheese
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the canned green beans under cold water.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the green beans and coat them with butter and garlic.
  • Season with onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add broth (if using), cover, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  • Serve hot, topped with optional fried onions, parmesan, or lemon juice.
