This fluffy French toast recipe is one of my favorite easy breakfasts. I make it using simple, halal ingredients that are always available in my kitchen. The toast is soft inside, golden outside, and tastes amazing with fresh strawberries and maple syrup. It is perfect for a quick breakfast, weekend brunch, or even a sweet treat for the family.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices brioche or white sandwich bread slightly stale
  • 30 –40 g butter 2–3 tbsp, halal
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract alcohol-free / halal
  • 250 g strawberries halved
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • Maple syrup butter (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, I whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
  • I dip each bread slice into the mixture, coating both sides lightly.
  • I heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • I cook the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
  • In another pan, I cook strawberries with sugar until soft and juicy.
  • I serve the French toast warm with strawberries, butter, and maple syrup.
