This fried chicken fries recipe is one of my favorite homemade snacks. I love how crispy they turn out on the outside while staying juicy inside. Using simple, halal ingredients, I can easily make these at home for my family. They’re perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party food with my favorite dipping sauces.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken halal
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt or ½ teaspoon table salt
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • cup cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Kosher salt to season
  • 1 to 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Avocado oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • I mix ground chicken, Parmesan, spices, and olive oil in a bowl until combined.
  • I shape the mixture into thin fry-like sticks using my hands.
  • I prepare three bowls: cornstarch with spices, whisked eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  • I coat each chicken fry in cornstarch, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  • I heat avocado oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • I fry the chicken fries until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • I place them on paper towels and serve hot.
