- 1 pound halal ground beef
- 1 pound halal ground chicken or turkey
- 1 pound halal-certified Velveeta cheese cubed
- 2 teaspoons halal Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 loaf party rye or pumpernickel bread 2”x2” pieces
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add halal ground beef and ground chicken. Cook until fully browned, breaking the meat into fine crumbles.
Drain excess grease to avoid soggy bread.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, cumin, and optional spices.
Reduce heat to low. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Arrange rye bread slices on a baking tray. Spoon meat and cheese mixture evenly onto each slice.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are crispy and cheese is bubbly.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
