Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder ceremonial or culinary grade
  • 1 umeboshi plum or 1 tsp umeboshi paste
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 small piece dried kombu seaweed about 2 inches
  • 8 ounces warm water 160–170°F
  • splash of lemon juice or drizzle of honey optional

Instructions
 

  • Steep the Kombu: Place kombu in warm water and let it steep for 5 minutes to release minerals.
  • Whisk the Matcha: In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with a splash of warm water until frothy.
  • Mix Everything: Remove kombu. Add matcha mixture, mashed umeboshi, and grated ginger to the warm water. Stir well.
  • Adjust & Serve: Add lemon juice or honey if desired. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use organic ingredients for the best results.
  • For a stronger metabolism boost, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Drink on an empty stomach in the morning or before workouts.
