Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoons cumin seeds jeera
  • 1 cups water
  • 1 teaspoons lemon juice optional, small squeeze

Method
 

  1. Rinse the cumin seeds: Lightly rinse the 1 teaspoons cumin seeds (jeera).
  2. Add seeds to water: Add the rinsed seeds to 1 cups water in a small bowl, jar, or glass.
  3. Soak overnight: Cover the container and let it soak overnight so the flavor infuses into the water.
  4. Strain the water: In the morning, strain the water to remove the seeds.
  5. Add lemon juice (optional): Add 1 teaspoons lemon juice (optional, small squeeze) if desired for extra freshness.
  6. Serve fresh: Pour into a glass or cup and serve fresh.

Tip: Lightly rinse the cumin seeds before soaking. Add a small squeeze of lemon juice for extra freshness after straining.
