For Hot/Iced Matcha Latte
- ¼ teaspoon matcha powder main keyword
- 2 ounces hot water 175°F ideal
- 6 ounces additional hot water or steamed/cold milk of choice:
- Almond milk optional
- Oat milk optional
- Coconut milk optional
- Dairy milk optional
- Maple syrup honey, or other sweetener (optional, halal)
- Ice cubes for iced latte only
Hot Matcha Latte
Sift ¼ tsp matcha powder into a cup.
Add 2 oz hot water and whisk until smooth and foamy.
Add 6 oz hot water or steamed milk.
Sweeten with honey or maple syrup (optional).
Serve hot.
Iced Matcha Latte
Whisk ¼ tsp matcha with 2 oz hot water until smooth.
Fill a glass with ice.
Pour 6 oz cold milk over ice.
Add whisked matcha.
Sweeten if desired and stir.
