For Rosemary Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar 100 g
- 2 –3 sprigs fresh rosemary
For the Mocktail:
- 6 –7 ice cubes
- 4 tbsp rosemary simple syrup
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp kala namak black salt
- ¼ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder mild, optional; skip for kids + extra for garnish
- 1 cup fresh orange juice unsweetened, 8 oz
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Optional Add-Ons:
- A splash of soda water for fizz
- A few pomegranate seeds for decoration
- A thin slice of orange on the rim
In a small pan, add ½ cup water, 2–3 rosemary sprigs, and a natural sweetener (honey/stevia).
Heat until the sweetener dissolves, simmer for 2–3 minutes, then cool and strain to make rosemary syrup.
Fill a serving glass with 6–7 ice cubes.
Add 4 tablespoons rosemary syrup.
Mix in ½ teaspoon chaat masala, ½ teaspoon kala namak, and ¼ teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder (optional).
Pour in 1 cup fresh orange juice (no added sugar).
Stir everything gently to combine flavors.
Garnish with a rosemary sprig and, if desired, a light chili powder rim.
Optional: Add soda water for fizz or pomegranate seeds for a fresh touch.
