- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
- ½ cup unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice
- ½ cup hot water or hot herbal tea
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional
- 1 pinch pink salt optional
Heat the ½ cup water or herbal tea until hot, but not boiling vigorously.
Sprinkle the gelatin powder into the hot liquid gradually, stirring continuously until it's fully dissolved with no lumps.
Pour in the unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice and mix well until fully combined.
Stir in the lemon juice and a small pinch of pink salt, if using. Taste and adjust before chilling.
Divide the mixture into small jars or cups, or pour into one shallow container.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until completely firm.
Unmold or serve cold directly from the container.
- Use unsweetened juice only — sweetened juice significantly raises the sugar content.
- Don't boil the gelatin; hot liquid with thorough stirring is enough to dissolve it properly.
- This recipe is a light snack option and is not a standalone weight-loss solution.
