  • 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup 57g powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups 279g all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup finely chopped nuts optional: pecans, walnuts, or almonds
  • Extra powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions
 

  • Beat softened butter and ½ cup powdered sugar until creamy.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.
  • Add flour and salt; mix until dough forms.
  • Fold in nuts (optional).
  • Roll into 1-inch dough balls.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden underneath.
