Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ¾ cup ketchup or to taste
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard or to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns split

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Meat: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add Veggies: Stir in onions and bell peppers until softened.
  • Make Sauce: Mix in ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust taste.
  • Simmer: Let it cook 10–15 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Assemble: Spoon mixture onto split buns. Toast buns for extra crunch if desired.
  • Serve: Enjoy with fries, chips, or a side salad.
