Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons halal soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add apple cider vinegar, water, and soy sauce to a saucepan.
  • Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
  • Add all spices and whisk well.
  • Simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes.
  • Cool completely and store in a glass bottle in the fridge.
